1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses tovelu.store or app.tovelu.store, whether or not they have an account, and forms part of our Terms of Service. It is written in plain terms on purpose: you should not need a lawyer to know what is out of bounds.
2. Using TOVELU safely
- Answer the survey honestly. The plan is only as safe as the answers behind it. Do not misstate your age, weight, health conditions, medications or pregnancy status, and do not work around a safety block by re-answering until you get through. Those blocks exist because the alternative can seriously hurt you.
- Do not use TOVELU on someone else's behalf, or plan the diet of a child, a pregnant or breastfeeding person, or anyone our screening has declined.
- Do not use TOVELU to restrict food in a way that is harming you. If you are struggling with your relationship with food, stop and speak to a professional — our Medical Disclaimer lists places to start.
- Do not set targets outside what the app permits, or ignore the calorie floors, by manipulating your inputs.
3. What you must not do
You must not use TOVELU to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- access another user's account or data, or try to;
- upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or that depicts a person who has not agreed to be photographed;
- upload malware, or anything designed to damage or interfere with software;
- share, sell, rent or transfer your account or credentials, or let more than one person use one account;
- resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the Service or any plan, meal, grocery list, recipe or coaching content from it;
- present TOVELU's output as professional medical, dietetic or clinical advice, yours or ours;
- make claims about TOVELU to other people that we have not made ourselves — particularly claims about curing, treating or preventing disease, or guaranteed weight loss;
- abuse our refund guarantee, for example by repeatedly subscribing and refunding.
4. Security and integrity
You must not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of TOVELU's systems except as expressly permitted by our Responsible Disclosure Policy; breach or circumvent authentication, rate limits, paywalls or the explore-window timer; interfere with service to any user, including by denial-of-service or automated flooding; or access the Service by any automated means other than a well-behaved search-engine crawler obeying our robots directives.
Security research done in good faith and within the boundaries of our Responsible Disclosure Policy is welcome, and we will not pursue you for it.
5. Scraping, AI training and resale
The curated food catalogue, nutrition tables, meal-generation logic, recipes, coaching content and interface are the product of substantial work and are the core of what TOVELU sells. You must not scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk-export or systematically extract them, by any means; use them to build, train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine-learning model; or use them to build a competing or substantially similar service. Reading your own plan, cooking from it, and downloading your own grocery list are of course fine — that is the product.
6. If you promote TOVELU
Affiliates and Affiliate Managers are additionally bound by the Affiliate Program Terms, which prohibit unsubstantiated health and income claims, spam, trademark bidding, cookie stuffing and self-referral, and require clear disclosure of the commercial relationship in every post. Those rules are strict because a claim you make about a health product is a claim we are answerable for.
7. How we enforce this
Depending on the seriousness, we may warn you, remove content, limit a feature, suspend or terminate your account, withhold or reverse affiliate commissions, or report the matter to law enforcement. Where the breach is not serious we will normally warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. Termination for a serious breach does not entitle you to a refund. You can appeal any enforcement decision by writing to ask@tovelu.store; a human reviews it.
8. Reporting a problem
Report abuse, impersonation, an account you believe belongs to a minor, or content that should not be there, to ask@tovelu.store. Report security vulnerabilities as described in our Responsible Disclosure Policy. We read every report.
